Acceptable Use Policy

Truthcore AI, Inc. · Effective Date: July 2026 · Last Updated: July 2026

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Truthcore Service. It is part of our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP is a breach of those Terms.

This policy applies to the website, the browser extension, any API access, and any other means of using the Service.

2. Prohibited Uses

2.1 Illegal activity

Do not use the Service to violate any law, regulation, or court order, or to facilitate anyone else doing so.

2.2 Content you have no right to submit

Do not submit content you do not have the right to have retrieved, transcribed, and processed. This includes:

  • Content behind a paywall or login you are not authorized to access
  • Private or non-public content belonging to someone else, including private accounts, direct messages, and unlisted content
  • Content whose submission would breach a contract, license, or confidentiality obligation you are under
  • Content you are prohibited from processing by the terms of the platform hosting it

2.3 Circumventing limits

Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, the free-analysis gate, or paywalls. This includes:

  • Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free analyses
  • Clearing, spoofing, rotating, or manipulating the anonymous device identifier to reset free usage
  • Using proxies, VPN rotation, or automated IP cycling to evade rate limits
  • Sharing, reselling, or pooling account credentials
  • Using automation to submit analyses at a rate or volume beyond normal individual use

2.4 Scraping and automated access

Do not scrape, crawl, spider, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service. Do not access the Service through any interface other than those we provide. Do not build a competing or derivative service from data extracted from Truthcore.

If you want programmatic access, contact policies@truthcore.ai.

2.5 Attacks and interference

Do not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure
  • Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without our written permission
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by overloading it or flooding it with requests
  • Introduce malware, or attempt to inject, tamper with, or manipulate our systems, prompts, or model outputs
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except where that restriction is unenforceable by law

2.6 Misrepresenting results

Do not misrepresent what Truthcore's results are. Specifically, do not:

  • Present results as human-verified, editorially reviewed, or independently confirmed
  • Alter, edit, or selectively crop results to change their meaning and then attribute them to Truthcore
  • Fabricate results and attribute them to Truthcore
  • State or imply that Truthcore has taken a position on a person, organization, or event
  • Use the Truthcore name, logo, or branding to lend false authority to a claim we did not produce

2.7 Harassment and targeting of individuals

Do not use the Service to harass, intimidate, defame, stalk, or build a case against a private individual. This includes:

  • Systematically analyzing a private person's content to assemble a dossier on them
  • Using results to threaten, extort, or intimidate anyone
  • Publishing results in a way intended to incite harassment of a private individual

Analyzing public statements by public figures on matters of public interest is a core use of the Service and is permitted.

2.8 Deceptive and coordinated use

Do not use the Service as part of coordinated inauthentic behavior, influence operations, astroturfing, or any effort to manipulate public opinion through fabricated or misrepresented fact-checks.

2.9 Automated decisions about people

Do not use results as an input to automated decisions that materially affect a person's rights, opportunities, or access — including employment, credit, housing, insurance, education, immigration, or law enforcement decisions.

2.10 High-risk reliance

Do not rely on results in any situation where an error could result in death, personal injury, or serious harm — including medical, safety-critical, or emergency contexts.

2.11 Prohibited content

Do not submit content that is, or use the Service to process:

  • Child sexual abuse material, under any circumstances
  • Content that is unlawful to possess or distribute in your jurisdiction

2.12 Reselling

Do not resell, sublicense, white-label, or otherwise commercially redistribute access to the Service without our written agreement.

3. Browser Extension

The extension may be used only as distributed and only for its intended purpose. Do not modify it, repackage it, or use it to collect data beyond what it is designed to send.

4. Reporting Violations

To report a violation of this policy, or content or use that concerns you, contact policies@truthcore.ai. Include enough detail for us to investigate.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including:

  • Issuing a warning
  • Applying additional rate limits
  • Suspending or terminating your account
  • Removing or deactivating share links
  • Refusing service
  • Reporting to law enforcement where required or warranted

We may take action with or without notice, depending on severity. For serious violations — including unauthorized access attempts, illegal content, or targeted harassment — we will typically act immediately and without warning.

Termination for a violation does not entitle you to a refund.

We may also decline to process particular URLs or types of content at our discretion.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. We will revise the Last Updated date, and for material changes we will notify registered users before they take effect.
