Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Truthcore AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Truthcore," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of the Truthcore website, browser extension, API, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Read this section carefully. It describes real limitations of the Service.

3.1 Outputs are AI-generated and may be wrong

Truthcore's results are produced by automated systems, including large language models and speech-to-text transcription. These systems make mistakes. Results may contain:

• Incorrect verdicts, including claims labeled true that are false, and claims labeled false that are true
• Missing or misleading context
• Inaccurate, outdated, irrelevant, or non-existent source citations
• Transcription errors that change the meaning of what was said
• Claims attributed to a speaker who did not make them
• Confidence scores that do not reflect actual reliability

3.2 No verification of outputs

We do not review, verify, or edit results before they are returned to you. There is no human fact-checker in the process.

3.3 Informational use only

Results are provided for informational purposes only. They are not, and must not be relied upon as:

• Legal, financial, medical, tax, or professional advice of any kind
• A statement of fact by Truthcore about any person, organization, or event
• Evidence in any legal, regulatory, employment, academic, or journalistic proceeding
• A basis for any decision with legal or material consequences

3.4 Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use, interpret, publish, or act on results. If you share a result publicly, you are responsible for that publication and for any consequences of it. Verify independently before relying on any result.

4.1 Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, or 16 where a higher minimum age applies under local law. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

4.2 Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us at policies@truthcore.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not share your account, sell access to it, or create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.

4.3 Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current.

5.1 Free tier

The Service offers a limited number of free analyses. Anonymous users receive a small allowance before an account is required. Registered free accounts receive a monthly allowance. Current limits are shown in the Service and may change.

5.2 Pro subscriptions

Truthcore Pro is a paid subscription providing higher usage limits, longer video support, and additional features as described at the time of purchase. Pricing is shown on our pricing page.

5.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected) through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.

5.4 Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.

5.5 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain Pro access until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.

5.6 Refunds

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose to issue a refund at our discretion. Contact policies@truthcore.ai with refund requests.

5.7 Price changes

We may change prices. For existing subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change takes effect. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept, cancel before the change takes effect.

5.8 Failed payments

If a payment fails, we may suspend or downgrade your access until payment succeeds.

5.9 Taxes

Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any taxes arising from your use of the Service.

6.1 Your responsibility for submissions

You are responsible for every URL and every piece of text you submit. By submitting content, you represent that:

• You have the right to submit it for analysis
• Doing so does not violate any law, contract, or third-party right
• Doing so does not violate the terms of service of the platform hosting the content

6.2 How submissions are processed

Submitting content causes us to retrieve it and send it to third-party AI providers for processing, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit content you are not permitted to have processed this way.

6.3 License to process

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to retrieve, transcribe, process, store, and analyze the content you submit, solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your submitted content and we do not use it to train our own models.

6.4 Shared results cache

As described in our Privacy Policy, analysis results — including transcripts — are temporarily cached in server memory keyed by URL and may be served to other users who submit the same URL. If you do not want a result to be reusable in this way, do not submit that content.

6.5 Share links

If you create a public share link, you make a snapshot of that analysis publicly accessible to anyone with the link. You are responsible for what you share. You may deactivate a share link at any time, and share links are deleted when you delete your account.

7.1 Our property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and the Truthcore name and logo, is owned by Truthcore AI, Inc. and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms grant you no rights in it beyond the limited right to use the Service.

7.2 Results

You may use, share, and publish results you generate. We ask that you attribute them to Truthcore and not present them as independently verified or as our editorial position. You may not present results in a way that misrepresents what they are.

7.3 Third-party content

Content you submit belongs to its original owner. Truthcore claims no rights in it, and analyzing content does not transfer any rights in it to you.

7.4 Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without obligation or compensation to you.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may impose or change usage limits.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. The Service depends on third-party providers, and outages or changes at those providers may affect it.

If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice to active subscribers and a prorated refund for any prepaid unused period.

10.1 By you

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may permanently delete your account and associated data from your account settings, as described in our Privacy Policy. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

10.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, if we are required to by law, or if your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk.

10.3 Effect

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections 3, 6.1, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 survive termination.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WE SPECIFICALLY MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT ANALYSIS RESULTS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, CURRENT, OR FREE OF ERROR.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REPUTATION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

THIS INCLUDES ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON, PUBLICATION OF, OR ACTION TAKEN BASED ON ANALYSIS RESULTS, INCLUDING CLAIMS OF DEFAMATION, REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR ECONOMIC LOSS SUFFERED BY YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Truthcore AI, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Content you submit
• Your publication or distribution of analysis results
• Your violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Your violation of any law or third-party right

14.1 Informal resolution first

Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at policies@truthcore.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

14.2 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14.3 Venue

Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14.4 Small claims

Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.

14.5 No class actions

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. We will revise the Last Updated date, and for material changes we will notify registered users by email or in-Service notice before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

Force majeure. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
